Seeknit Koshitsu CURVE Interchangeable Circular Needle Tips

Koshitsu tips are made from moso bamboo treated under high temperature and pressure, then impregnated with natural plant wax — a proprietary Seeknit process refined over 100 years of production. The result is denser, harder bamboo with a glossy, exceptionally smooth surface and a slippery feel that lasts far longer than untreated wood. Koshitsu is the bamboo needle with the warm brown colour.

The tips are shaped in the Seeknit CURVE profile: an elegant, flowing taper that runs seamlessly into the metal joint with no step or catch. Stitches glide from tip to cord without snagging, so your rhythm never breaks. Warm and light in the hand like true bamboo, but with the speed of a slick surface — a combination no other manufacturer offers.

Choosing Your Length
Short 6 cm and 10 cm tips are ideal for sleeves, hats, socks and magic loop work, where a compact tip gives better control in tight rounds. The 12.5 cm and 15 cm tips offer a traditional full-length needle feel with maximum stability — best for garments, shawls and large circumference knitting.

Matching Your Cord Length
The combined length of both tips must be shorter than the cord, or the pair cannot be assembled into a working circular needle. As a guide:

• 6 cm (2.4") tips — use a cord of 15 cm or longer
• 10 cm (4") tips — use a cord of 20 cm or longer
• 12.5 cm (5") tips — use a cord of 25 cm or longer
• 15 cm (6") tips — use a cord of 30 cm or longer

Compatibility
Seeknit CURVE uses only two screw sizes, M1.8 and M2 — the large M4 connector of the classic system has been discontinued. M1.8 and M2 tips, cords, joints and stoppers are cross-compatible with the classic Seeknit interchangeable range. Classic M4 tips can be used with a cord converter; classic M4 cords cannot be used with CURVE. When pairing classic M2 stoppers with CURVE large-size needles, take care that stitches don't slip off.

Please note: cords are sold separately. Check your connector size before ordering — M1.8 and M2 are not interchangeable. Tips in 6 cm length are available in sizes 2.00 mm (US0) through 6.00 mm (US10) only.
