A small update to how prices are shown

Prices on the yarn pages now show per 100 g, or per 3.5 oz if you think in ounces. The price per gram is still there just below, so nothing has gone away.

The nicer part is what happens when you type in a weight. Enter how many grams you want and you will see the total straight away, along with how many meters and yards that comes to. From there it is easy to work out how many strands you would want to hold together for the fabric you have in mind.

We also fixed something. The calculator was not behaving properly on some yarns, and it turned out the yardage had been recorded in a few different formats. That is sorted now.

If you spot anything odd, or if you know a simpler way to show yardage than what we have done, please tell us. We are a small shop and not programmers, so an extra pair of eyes helps more than you might think. Leave a comment below, write to us at info@coneandfiber.com, send a message on Instagram, or drop a note in our WhatsApp group. Whichever is easiest for you.
